This crispy Haddock Caesar can easily become a signature lunch/dinner entrée salad in your establishment. We are using our 2-4 oz Battercrisp® Natural Cut Haddock, which can also be utilized for fish & chips, fish sandwiches, wraps and tacos. Since one of the key ingredients in Caesar dressing is anchovies, paring this classic salad with seafood makes perfect sense. With the addition of baby kale, avocado, shrimp and our Battercrisp® haddock, we can take this traditional salad to new craveable heights. I’ve used our breaded popcorn shrimp and sprinkled them in the salad similar to croûtons, but a simple grilled or poached shrimp would do just fine as well. It’s truly a salad that eats like an entire meal!

  • 1 pc Battercrisp® Natural Cut Haddock Fillets, #5442
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup baby kale
  • 2 tbsp prepared Caesar dressing
  • 1 tbsp croûtons
  • 1 tbsp shaved Parmesan
  • ¼ avocado sliced
  • Anchovies for garnish – optional
  • Lemon zest for garnish – optional
  • Popcorn shrimp garnish – optional


  1. Cook Battercrisp® haddock according to box directions.
  2. Toss romaine & baby kale with Caesar dressing.
  3. Slice Battercrisp® haddock and place on top of Caesar salad with remaining ingredients and garnishes.
